Kate Robinson

Assistant Director of User Interaction

As assistant director of user interaction, Kate marries user needs with business objectives to make useful, effective web experiences. She conducts user and stakeholder research, inventories and audits content, develops messaging hierarchies and content topics and organizes it all into sitemaps and wireframes that serve as the backbone of websites.

Kate started her career as a graphic designer, earning a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Indiana University. During her 12-year tenure at a marketing agency, she fell in love with creating useful, usable web experiences—making the transition from print design to web design and content strategy.

Kate spends her free time working in her garden, knitting amigurumi for friends, cooking, and watching football. She loves traveling far and wide, often getting lost in the details of travel planning.

My goal is to make the web less frustrating and more enjoyable, one website at a time.
