As the director of media planning, Sue provides strategic and tactical leadership for Indiana University’s integrated media efforts. Her responsibilities include managing all aspects of integrated media planning and execution, along with hiring and managing all external agencies and vendors–local, regional, national and international.
Formerly a media director in advertising agency’s all over the U.S., Sue has category experience in retail, healthcare, and restaurants, along with extensive experience in national political media.
Relationships have always been a key component of the media business, and Sue’s honesty, credibility and professionalism have helped her establish a strong rapport with media representatives across the globe. She is a thoughtful and tenacious negotiator whose opinion is sought out by stations and media alike as a thought leader in her field. She is also an adjunct professor at Butler University’s College of Communications. She has a passion for all things media, and enjoys nothing more than developing strategies and plans that help her clients achieve their goals.
A mom to three grown children and two rescue dogs, the native Chicagoan spends her free time playing tennis, visiting her kids, and cheering on her beloved Blackhawks and Cubs.
