Walter is working toward a B.S. in Computer Science at the School of Informatics and Computing at IU Bloomington. Previously he was an accounts receivable intern with Rolls-Royce, where he learned how to manage accounts. He has also worked for University Information Technology Services, assisting students and faculty with campus systems.

Walter has worked with programming languages such as Java, Python, and C. He is currently learning how to develop software with a focus on improving the lives of others.
