Molly is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 15 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she attended Butler University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Spanish. She first came to IU Communications in 2006, starting out as an editorial assistant while working toward a master’s degree in journalism. After completing her degree, she worked in marketing and communications at nonprofit and higher education organizations in Wisconsin and Arizona. She returned to IU Communications in 2014 as a content specialist, working with clients across the university to create compelling content that tells the IU story.
When she’s not at work, Molly puts her skills to use as a freelance magazine writer. She also plays the cello in the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, tutors adult learners in the Monroe County Public Library’s VITAL program, and practices aerial arts at Wild Orchid Aerial Fitness and Dance. On the rare occasions when she has free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
