Eleanor Berman

Director of Client Relations & Strategic Partnerships

Von Lee
517 E. Kirkwood Avenue

Bloomington, IN 47408

As the director for Client Relations and Strategic Partnerships, Eleanor keeps the entire project management team on strategy, on time, and on budget.

A recent Bloomington transplant, Eleanor spent the last 10 years working in the vibrant Chicago theatre community. Her extensive arts marketing background was honed most notably as the director of marketing and communications at Writers’ Theatre, Chicago’s fifth largest theatre company. She also served as the communications manager at Goodman Theatre, one of the nation’s largest and most respected regional theatres and worked with the producing team at The Second City. Eleanor was a co-founder of Stage 33 Chicago, a black box venue which produced two sketch comedy shows, Keenerville and McManusland. She has also served on the board of 20% Theatre Company and Tello Films. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater and anthropology from the University of Evansville.

Besides a love of the arts, her enthusiasms include running, hiking, and gardening—anything that gets her outdoors. She is also a home improvement warrior and a history dork.
