Marketing research expectations

How we use student feedback

  • Your demographic data (including email and mailing address) will never be sold, rented, or given away to an outside entity.
  • Your feedback will remain confidential to IU, and comments will only be reported in aggregate. If we use your quote verbatim in promotional materials, we will cite your quote generically (for example: Kyle, IU freshman), or contact you for permission to use your full name.

Responding to surveys

  • Our surveys are short, and you will usually have up to two weeks to respond.
  • You don’t have to respond to every survey, though higher response rates give us the best results.
