Read Bethany's observations on music and theatre, film and art, and other IU cultural events on the Art at IU blog.

Bethany covers the arts at Indiana University, filing stories about the Jacobs School of Music, IU Cinema, IU Auditorium, and IU Art Museum, as well as the Department of Apparel Merchandising and Interior Design and the Department of English and Creative Writing. From following the IU Marching Hundred to their Super Bowl pre-game performance to jumping up and down with an IU junior who found out she was about to appear on Jeopardy, Bethany relishes the opportunity to talk to what she calls “some of the coolest people on campus.”

Bethany brings 15 years of experience as a journalist to IU Communications, having worked at newspapers across southern Indiana, including the Bloomington Herald-Times. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Evangel University and a master’s degree in library science from IU’s School of Library and Information Science.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
